Synopsis

Cursed by Turbo Granny, Okarun teams up with the newly awakened psychic Momo and challenges Turbo Granny to a game of tag to break the curse. Escape means victory—but an earthbound spirit transformed into a giant crab is sent to stop them, and the two must fight back with razor-thin teamwork. With help from Grandma Seiko, they close in on their foe, and as they do, Momo and Okarun grow more in sync and more attached to each other. Occult, battle, and budding romance all run wild at once in Volume 2.

Okarun and Momo drive off the giant crab-spirit, and the cornered Turbo Granny's true nature and past come to light. Grandma Seiko's arrival firms up the foundation of Momo's spirit powers, while Okarun's monster form grows steadier in combat. The struggle over his stolen "family jewels" heads toward a resolution, and the feud with Turbo Granny reaches a turning point. The two grow even closer, and though they deny it out loud, their urge to protect each other becomes unmistakable.
