Synopsis

Case Closed Volume 103 crackles with tension as several agendas collide around Ai Haibara. A bomb threat reaches the hotel where Sera and Mary are staying, and Conan chases the culprit alongside attorney Eri Kisaki. When the Detective Boys head to the sea, their chaperones are none other than Subaru Okiya and Rumi Wakasa, and the strained air between them keeps readers on edge. The hotel bomb-threat case is solved when Eri's eloquence meshes with Conan's sharp eye to corner a culprit who tried to hide the motive. In the seaside episode, Okiya and Wakasa keep watching Haibara as if probing each other's true identity, and it stays unclear who is an ally and who is a foe as the tension mounts. A secret hidden in Wakasa's left hand flickers into view, thickening the suspicion that she may be Rum. In the Kid-versus-Amuro rematch, Kid escapes his corner through dazzling disguise and sleight of hand, while Amuro likewise keeps his true nature concealed. The volume closes on an ominous sense that the Organization's shadow is closing in on Haibara.
