Synopsis

Azusa, who works at the Cafe Poirot, sees her brother vanish while under suspicion of murder. Kept under police watch, she slips away the moment Detective Takagi lets his guard down during a shopping trip. Back in her room sits a parcel her brother just mailed, tied with a ribbon unlike any of his other packages. That cryptic clue sets the story in motion. Azusa's brother is not the real killer; on the run, he was trying to signal his innocence to his sister. The way the ribbon is tied is a private code only the siblings understand, and Conan reads the hidden truth from it. In the "Murder of Shinichi Kudo" arc, a crime committed by someone posing as Shinichi pushes Ran one step closer to realizing Shinichi and Conan are the same person.
