Synopsis

Volume 92 quietly sets the Akai family's buried secrets in motion. A seaside memory resurfaces in Conan's mind—a scene where young Shinichi and Ran once crossed paths with Masumi Sera, and where the shadow of a young man resembling Shuichi Akai also lingers. The first half keeps things light with cases set at Cafe Poirot and an Edo-style deduction show sparked by a stolen winning ticket. The back half turns toward the unsettling atmosphere of Rumi Wakasa's home and the tale of "the woman with white hands," letting the Akai bloodline and the presence of the Organization slowly intertwine.

⚠ Spoiler warning — tap to reveal
The seaside memory arc hints at Shuichi Akai's past ties and sketches the outline of the Sera family, planting quiet doubts about who these people truly are. The scenes inside Rumi Wakasa's home are laced with details that make you question her real identity—clues meant to pay off much later. The Cafe Poirot and winning-ticket cases resolve as standalone puzzles while subtly repositioning figures like Toru Amuro. This is a volume that stacks up "who is hiding what" rather than delivering explosive payoffs, serving as a crucial run-up to the Akai secrets finally being told.
