Synopsis

Volume 93 sets two keys turning at once—"Love" and "RUM." Caught up in an incident at Cafe Poirot, Conan and Heiji Hattori join Toru Amuro to investigate, only for a mysterious man calling himself "Shinichi Wada" to send things spinning in an unexpected direction. Meanwhile, a figure evoking RUM, the right hand of "That Person," casts a shadow before the Detective Boys, and tension around the Organization rises. The book balances comedic uproar involving Eri Kisaki with a basketball-driven sports mystery, swinging widely between laughter and suspense. The volume's focus is the way RUM candidates—Rumi Wakasa, Kanenori Wakita, and Hyoe Kuroda—line up before the reader. The man calling himself "Shinichi Wada" leaves the Organization's shadow hanging thick, and together with Amuro's Bourbon maneuvering it breeds tension. The Eri Kisaki chapters comically explore Conan's view of family while reaffirming the Mouri household's dynamics. In the basketball arc, Heiji's sporting knowledge and deduction shine, showing how well the dark-skinned duo click.
