Synopsis

Having revived the mortally wounded Senku, the Kingdom of Science turns to counterattack. Senku is resurrected with the revival fluid and, turning his feigned death to advantage, unfolds a plan to outwit Xeno's camp. Armed with corn and resources, the Kingdom of Science mass-produces batteries, weapons, and radios to prepare its counteroffensive. Meanwhile Xeno's side deploys machine guns and powerful arms, and the front spreads in three directions—sky, land, and sea. The comrades overcome crises of injury and separation through scientific teamwork. The story's focus gradually converges on the fact that both camps must ultimately face the "common riddle of Why-man," and signs of cooperation beyond friend and foe begin to appear. A volume that lays the groundwork for resolution and reconciliation.
