Synopsis

This sequel follows Zatch after he becomes king. Peace should have returned to the demon world, yet a mysterious invader appears intent on destroying it. It gradually becomes clear that the invader's goal is not mere destruction but rewriting the very foundation of the demon world. Now king, Zatch bears the duty of protecting his people and begins reaching out to the comrades he once fought beside. The invader also extends its reach toward the human partners who hold the books, and the danger spreads to the human world. It is shown that Zatch cannot stand against this foe alone, strongly hinting at fighting side by side with Kiyomaro once more. The bonds of the original series become the key to a new war — a prologue to reunion.
