Synopsis

The battles intensify in Volume 2 as fan-favorite characters arrive one after another. Parco Folgore is weak and always running, but Folgore's songs save him and he forms a friendship with Zatch. Tia is cold to Zatch at first, yet his sincerity opens her heart. This volume makes it clear: when a mamodo's book burns, it is forced back to the demon world, its path to the throne severed. Kiyomaro grasps another truth, too — each spell he casts drains his own stamina. The more allies he gains, the more he must protect. Zatch and Kiyomaro begin searching for a way to win without abandoning kindness.
