Synopsis

When Gin and Hijikata get caught in an accident at the exact same moment, their minds end up completely swapped. Until they find a way back into their own bodies, these two polar-opposite leaders have to keep living swapped, one running the Yorozuya, the other steering the Shinsengumi. Watch the diligent Hijikata trapped in Gin's slovenly body and Gin running wild inside the demonic vice-commander's frame, dragging both organizations into chaos in a swap arc packed with laughs and friendship.

Living in each other's skin, Gin and Hijikata come to feel firsthand how hard the other's daily grind is and the resolve each has quietly carried. Yanked around by a mayo-wrecked stomach and a sugar-addicted body, they end up genuinely respecting how the other lives. As always the accident traces back to something idiotic, but swapping bodies is exactly what loosens the true feelings neither man would ever normally admit. Once restored, the insults they trade carry unmistakable respect.
