Synopsis

As the ZQN pandemic swallows the world, timid manga assistant Hideo Suzuki's flight enters a new phase. Hideo and Hiromi reach the base of a research group studying ZQN biology. The scientists realize Hiromi's half-ZQN nature could be the key to a vaccine or coexistence, and move to lock her away as a test subject. With human awareness and ZQN instinct sharing one body, Hiromi slowly loses her grip on her self and grows numb even to Hideo's voice. The moment the lab's controls begin to fail, restrained ZQN break loose and turn the facility into hell. Hideo levels his shotgun, standing at the razor's edge of whether he can keep Hiromi tethered to the human side.
