Synopsis

The battle for Hangu Pass finally erupts. A Coalition Army drawn from five states, orchestrated by the brilliant Zhao strategist Li Mu, floods toward Qin and slams into the impregnable gate of Hangu Pass. The siege of Hangu Pass rages with brutal intensity. The Fei Xin unit collides with the massive force led by Zhao's Man Goku, and Xin comes face to face with the general's eerie, all-consuming grudge. Atop the walls, Qin's famed commanders such as Mou Bu and Ou Sen hold their ground, barely stemming the tide of the numerically superior coalition. Yet Li Mu's aim is never mere brute force at the front, and throughout this volume the enemy's careful groundwork begins to surface, dragging the battle toward a grinding war of attrition.
