Synopsis

Still raw from losing his mother to a parasite, Shinichi returns to school life alongside Migi. A transfer student named Hideo Shimada turns out to be a parasite too. He claims he has no wish to fight and only wants to live quietly as a human, yet in secret he keeps feeding on people. A classmate, the girl Yuko, stumbles onto just how wrong Shimada is. As a predator hidden right beside everyday life collides with the terror of someone who has seen the truth, Shinichi is dragged back into the fighting whether he likes it or not.

Shimada tries to blend in as a human but cannot master his hunger, and the victims keep piling up. Yuko, who has sensed what he is, is cornered by fear, and Shimada bares his blades to silence her. He finally snaps at school, revealing his true form before a crowd and unleashing carnage. To protect his classmates and the people around him, Shinichi and Migi meet Shimada head-on. Shimada falls after a brutal clash, but this volume marks the turning point where human society starts treating the parasites as real, public incidents.
