Synopsis

Right before the milestone 200th volume, Volume 199 reaches the home stretch. Ryotsu Kankichi charges after money-making and hobbies with his trademark vitality, stirring up huge commotions across the downtown streets of Kameari in a batch of self-contained gags. Chasing his next big score, Ryotsu keeps putting flashy ideas into action, but his sloppy follow-through and bottomless greed blow the plans apart as always. His modified devices and contraptions go haywire, throwing all of Kameari into chaos and setting off Chief Ohara's fury. In the end only debts and cleanup remain, leaving Reiko and Nakagawa exasperated. Yet undeterred, Ryotsu grins and blurts out his next scheme, carrying the momentum into the commemorative 200th volume on a satisfying punchline.
