Synopsis

Squad Seven finally leaves the village for its first real mission: escorting the bridge-builder Tazuna to the Land of Waves. What looks like grunt work quickly turns deadly. Enemy ninja ambush them on the road, and the danger far exceeds the mission's rank. Zabuza traps Kakashi in his Water Prison, but Naruto and Sasuke's quick thinking frees their teacher. Kakashi then uses his Sharingan to copy Zabuza's techniques perfectly and overwhelm him. Just as Zabuza is cornered, a masked boy appears, strikes him with needles, and carries off the seemingly dead ninja. But Zabuza is alive: the boy, Haku, faked his death using a special bloodline ability. The battle is far from over. A true life-and-death struggle over the unfinished bridge still lies ahead.
