Synopsis

Trapped inside Haku's dome of ice mirrors on the unfinished bridge, Sasuke and Naruto are riddled by countless needles with no way out. In a desperate moment, Sasuke throws himself in front of Naruto and takes the full brunt of Haku's assault, collapsing before his eyes. With Sasuke fallen while shielding him, Naruto unleashes the Nine-Tails' power and overwhelms Haku. His mask shattered, Haku confesses that without a purpose serving Zabuza his life has no meaning, and begs Naruto to finish him. Yet at the final instant, Haku hurls himself between Kakashi's Lightning Blade and Zabuza, dying to protect his master. Betrayed by his employer Gato, Zabuza too meets a savage end at Haku's side. Naruto takes to heart the true meaning of the bond the two of them fought to protect.
