Synopsis

With his brutal duel against Soujiro settled, Kenshin at last comes face to face with Shishio Makoto himself. Kenshin finally defeats Soujiro and frees him from the chains binding his heart. Then the final battle against Shishio himself begins. Kenshin, Saito, Aoshi, and Sanosuke challenge him in turn, only to fall one by one before Shishio's overwhelming brute swordsmanship and his Homura Dama. Because his burn-scarred body overheats, Shishio can only fight at full power for fifteen minutes, and the group throws everything into exploiting that single weakness. Battered and bloodied, they summon their last strength to stop this demon.
