Synopsis

What does it truly mean to be "strong"? Takehiko Inoue's monumental chronicle of the undefeated swordsman Miyamoto Musashi continues in Volume 32. Musashi already sensed it: the man standing before him, seemingly a solid mass of "martial force" itself, was the very image of the ideal swordsman he had once yearned for and chased. But Musashi does not yet know that this genius, bound to him by threads of fate, was once discovered and nurtured by the famed master Ittōsai. As their pasts and karmic ties quietly begin to cross, the two talents are drawn together in a way neither can escape. A volume where the souls of men bent on mastering the sword resonate, pressing toward the very heart of the story.
