Synopsis

Volume 9 of Fairy Tail. The all-out war with Phantom Lord intensifies. Robbed of their master and facing a rival guild transformed into a colossal fortress, Fairy Tail is forced into a total battle against the giant magic cannon Jupiter and the forbidden Abyss Break. Erza takes the full blast of the Jupiter cannon with her Adamantine Armor, suffering near-fatal wounds. When she tries to give her life for her friends, Natsu roars, devours the flames and blazes back into the fight. As the fortress reshapes into the giant Super Mage Giant and Abyss Break nears activation, Natsu and Gajeel's Dragon Slayers collide in a ferocious duel. Lucy tells her guildmates she never wanted to be taken by Phantom, crying that Fairy Tail is the home she belongs to. The guild's counterattack against Jose's ambition begins in earnest.
