The elderly Gintoki and Katsura scrape together their last strength to smash the treasure box, defeat Otohime, and reclaim their youth as the palace collapses around them. In the robot maid arc, she discovers something like love on her day off and works herself nearly to breakdown for her master, a devotion that leaves readers misty-eyed.
