Synopsis

The see-saw battle between Karasuno and Kamomedai grinds on. Targeted relentlessly by Kamomedai and unable to find a way through, Asahi Azumane is crushed by guilt every time he gives up a point. Asahi, once shrinking in fear of conceding points, finally breaks free thanks to his teammates and his own resolve, and charges head-on at Kamomedai's towering wall. He beats Hirugami's sharp-reading block with spikes placed into open lanes and deliberate block-outs, giving Karasuno huge momentum. With Asahi back in form, the attack widens and the Hinata-Kageyama quick begins clicking again. Kamomedai fights back, but Karasuno reclaims a set in this volume and pushes the match into a tangled, tense finale. The ace's awakening turns the tide.
