Synopsis

Driven from the throne by the coup of his half-brother Sei Kyou, the young Qin king Ei Sei lacks the soldiers to retake the capital Kanyou. So Ei Sei, Shin, and Ka Ryo Ten set out for the deep mountain realm ruled by dangerous mountain tribes. Seeking an alliance with people who were once Qin's sworn enemies is a reckless gambit. Captured in the mountains, Shin and Ei Sei are dragged before Yo Tan Wa, king of the mountain people. Behind a monstrous mask hides a woman of breathtaking beauty. Ei Sei boldly proclaims his ideals, describing a future where mountain and plain join hands. Moved by his words and the scale of his vision, Yo Tan Wa chooses to ally with Qin, entrusting to Ei Sei the mountain people's old dream of ruling China. With thousands of warriors now at their side, the group finally moves to reclaim the capital.
